The Daniel Island Village, a multi-use retail, office and condo project on Clemments Ferry Road (not Daniel Island...) is in the tank. The proposed development would have consited of 300 condos and 27,000 square feet of retail space. The 20-acre marsh-side property, owned by Clements Ferry Southwest LLC, was auctioned off in Berkeley County court last week to its mortgage lender in the wake of mounting financial and legal woes.
