Daniel Island Rentals
Friday, August 31, 2007
According to the guys at Beresford Creek Property Management, the rental market on Daniel Island is getting ready to go crazy. Homes are not moving as quickly as they typically do. This is causing some financial hurt on the owners. Also with the tightening of the purse strings at all of the mortgage lenders, people won't be able to afford to buy. More and more people are going to look to rent and we all know that they are going to want to live here on Daniel Island. Check out the Beresford Creek Boys at www.danielislandrentals.com.
Daniel Island Village on Hold
Thursday, August 30, 2007
The Daniel Island Village (which isnt actually going to be located on Daniel Island...) project that is supposed to be going right there on the corner of Clemments Ferry Road and I-526 has been stalled due to market conditions. Read this from the Post and Courier:
Housing 2000 Inc. has put its proposed 314-unit project on Daniel Island on hold, partly due to market forces, said Fred Morgan, president. Instead, his Texas-based group is concentrating on the September groundbreaking of a large apartment complex near Charleston Southern University in North Charleston.
I dont think anyone is suprised by that news...
Town Square at Daniel Island
Some of you may have heard the rumors that Daniel Island is going to have a town center type area here in the new future and that P.F. Chang and Nordstrom are going to be there. Well I can't confirm who the tenants are going to be but according to Hill Parnters Inc., there is going to be a movie theater. Click on the picture below to get a better look at the proposed Town Square at Daniel Island. I will post more information about this project as it becomes available.

The Daniel Island Club in Charleston, S.C., developed by The Daniel Island Company. Ranked 29th out of 100 courses nationwide by Golf Week as one of the Best Real Estate Courses, The Daniel Island Club is an excellent example of what can be achieved when developers and architects work towards a common goal of saving trees. With the help of arborists, developers were able to save 80 percent of the trees initially suggested for removal. Additional native species were planted to enhance the design of the course.
