The Daniel Island Village, a multi-use retail, office and condo project on Clemments Ferry Road (not Daniel Island...) is in the tank. The proposed development would have consited of 300 condos and 27,000 square feet of retail space. The 20-acre marsh-side property, owned by Clements Ferry Southwest LLC, was auctioned off in Berkeley County court last week to its mortgage lender in the wake of mounting financial and legal woes.

2008 AVP Crocs Tour coming back to Daniel Island
The AVP Charleston Open returns to the Family Circle Tennis Center on Daniel Island May 15 - 18, 2008. Twenty-four of the world's top men's & women's volleyball teams will be back to compete for a share of the $200,000 purse with each championship team awarded a check for $20,000.

Rick Vale named Broker in Charge Daniel Island Real Estate

Rick Vale has been named the Broker-in-Charge of Daniel Island Real Estate. Formerly a Daniel Island Real Estate sales associate, Vale replaces Dan Kingsbury, who recently accepted a position with a Columbia, S.C.-based builder and developer.
We wish him well in his new position.
