Spring Red Balloon Yard Sale

Gather your items for this year's island-wide "garage sale" which will be held Saturday, March 7 from 7 am -1 pm! Each participating homeowner will be responsible for putting red balloons on their mailbox or porch to indicate they are having a sale. Rain or shine. The Daniel Island Friends of the Library will be collecting used books, CD's, DVD's and audio books from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on the day of the yard sale. Donations will benefit the Daniel Island Branch of the Berkeley County Library System. Volunteers will canvas the participating yard sale homes for potential donations in the early morning and will return to pick up unsold books and media donations at the end of the sale and will deliver tax donation receipts. Scratched CD's and DVD's are appreciated and can be repaired.
